Accelerated decay

OK I'll take the bait. I took this photo last Friday beside the wreck of the Uralba. It is a fish being digested by North Pacific sea stars, an invasive species in Port Phillip Bay. It is a literal interpretation of Les's theme.

It seems that this boat has been left to Decay in the elements.

I took this photo maybe two years ago while having lunch in my workvan on the Central Coast near Woy Woy NSW.

Cheers

Haven't been able to get my act together for the past few challenges, but a trip to the in-laws on the weekend put me face to face with my reflection (actually it has 20 years on me... but this is how I feel sometimes )

Hi All,

Okay, here's my entry.

This old house stands (barely), about 50m off the Hill End Rd between Mudgee and Hill End, rather closer to the Mudgee end of the Rd.

Best,

Les D

The Browne Shaft headframe of the old Junction Mine, Broken Hill, N.S.W.
This shaft was first sunk c.1886 and continued to operate under
several different company names until 1962.
Parts of this original headframe date back to the 1890s.
