Hawking NOT "very ill"

Hi,

Stephen Hawking is NOT currently reported quite ill in hospital. My earlier post (edited away here) was nonsense as it was really in 2009.

Ha, no, seems I boo-booed badly .

What happened was that I was reading about him in a current story where he was planning to go to California, and followed a link in that story withing checking the date.

My most humble apologies to you all and to Prof Hawking. It was the middle of the night and it seems my brain had gone dead.

When checking what I had done just now, I had to say firmly to myself "You will NOT hope to find a current story saying he is very ill".

A hard lesson in checking my facts.

Prof.Hawking has been quite ill with his condition I guess for a long time.
He has beaten the odds a few times but has bounced back. A real inspirational survivor who has contributed immeasurably to the scientific world.
