Hi there,

Here's a shot i took on Sunday at Golden Grove.
I should have listened to Dave, He suggested as everything was working so well not to move to another object and image sculptor for as long as the evening allowed, but of course i didn't listen and spent the next hour re-aligning, focusing, dew removing, re-framing etc etc and in the end had a tanty and packed up grumpy that i should've listen to him.

Here's what i got for my troubles that eve.

Nice image, what f ratio is the 12" and what time were the images ?

Yes the 12'' on the EQ6 is really pushing the envelope but with the extra light gathering abilty and F4.9 ratio it enables shorter exposures.
I'm pretty sure these were 4min subs from memory..have to check.

The key to the stability is definately in the Parallax rings, they are just simply superb and so heavy duty, they are well worth the ridiculous price tag i paid for them.

I would love to see an image of your set up as I have a 12 inch scope as well as an EQ6 Pro.
