Helix Repro

After much mucking about, including a couple of days in bed with a virus, good excuse to get through a few hours of Adam Blocks' tutorial.

I put this data together in CCDStack for the first time, all went reasonably well following the tutorials, until color came into the equation!

After pulling what little hair I have left out, Hagar came to the rescue with some wise and learned instruction!

Here's the repro of last weeks Helix, 16 x 10 min subs with the Qhy8Pro through the Ed 120.

Registered and combined in CCD Stack. Curves, levels, saturation and selective smooting and sharpening in CS 3.

After looking at so many versions over the last few days, there all looking quite similar, although I have some very strange colored ones hanging around.

C/C appreciated.

Darren

Darren,

An enormous improvement over your previous effort.

Don't get me wrong -- I see things from an artistic point of view, and, with that in mind, your previous effort was quite something, but, this one will appeal to the more purist masses.

No poblem H,

I've just set the Mac up with CS3, amd the images look so different on here, compared to the LCD monitor.

It's all a learning curve mate, I will be needing your advice shortly when I pick up a my new toy from Doug!

When am going to see the fruits of your new toys?

I wish I knew.

I've had nothing but a string of bad luck since I've got all the gear.

Here's hoping October brings me some joy. Or, November.

Thanks Daniel, not long to snake valley, the way things are changing, I can see us both spending some time in the dinning room having lessons.

Cheers!

Unfortunately, I won't be giving any lessons -- I don't think I'm going to be at Snake Valley.
