Exclamation My Ugly Saturn...!!

Hi,
Clear night tonight, but the seeing was aweful, not to mention the wind...
Had ago at Saturn anyway, as there wasn't much else going on with a full moon...
Here is the result of about 550 stacks. Not that flash, but it's my first planet shot of the year... so that's something!

Cheers

Bubbling would be an understatement. I tired to colour correct the rings, but when you have peanuts to work with you generally end up with a monkey!

At times I think Buddism and astronomy have a lot in common. We are both trying to achieve serenity with all the universe can throw at us

Hi Kevin,
Camera is a ToUCam.
Scope is a Celestron C8 at f/25 (2.5x Powermate)
Capture with K3CCDTools, processing with Registax2 (I haven't learnt Registax3 yet!).

Yeah from your vantage point, this is not bad. Saturn would be really low on the horizon at present for you and so atmospheric distortion would be playing havoc. Keep trying.
