Taking a little break from the vdB catalog, I decided to image NGC7023 again. I haven't done it since 2007. I really like this target since it was the target that got me interested in shooting dust.
This time I decided to image NGC7023 for a modest exposure time and stretch the data like crazy to see what dust I missed before. This is what I came up with:

The data was G2V balanced and care was taken to the histogram during the steps of processing so I think that the slight magenta cast in some of the stellar regions is real. Possibly a reddening effect of the intervening dust?
This is not your usual Iris; I hope you like it.
