Question VE300 Digitrack drive corrector and Auto guiding

Has anyone out there used a MEADE 520 relay box? To help communicate their CCD camera auto guide to their telescope drive with AC synchronous motors? I have the VE300 Digitrack drive corrector that drives the AC motors found amongst older Celestrons C8 and MEADE 2080 scopes. The VE300 Digitrack drive corrector has a RJ12 phone connector that the RA and DEC hand control connects into. Could a SBIG ST4 or the MEADE Pictor 201 connect straight into the VE300 Digitrack phone jack (RJ12)?

I would like to catch up with people who have there CCD auto guiders guide older mounts from the 80's or AC driven motors and not the latest goto scopes.

clear skies,

Michael

Gidday Michael,
Talk to Robby. he has the StarMate system that seems to work with most mounts, not just the newer ones.
He may be hard to catch at present, as a BIG day looms for him soon, but I think he will be going past my plkace in a few days, so will ask him myself.
Meanwhile try his site www.star-mate.com
Regards,
Gary
