Field Flattener Help??

Hi there

Are there feild flattner's on the market that have larger imaging cirlces than the standard 42mm t -thread?

I just can't find any anywhere, they all taper from a 2-4'' focuser to 42mm.

There must be heaps of people using large format ccd's that have a decent FF out there.

Shane, the Orion ED80 reducer has a larger than normal T thread and there are matching larger diameter T adapters available for FF sensors.

I have one but haven't had the chance to try it yet.

The Orion adapter is somewhat limited in that it screws directly on to the standard ED80 drawtube without any adapters.

I was beginning to think i post the thread in the wrong spot.
That sounds interesting, i did have a special adapter made up for my 11002 camera but using 2'' focusers is underdoing it's purpose and then further reducing the imaging cirlce with a MPCC or FF is just killing things for me, cropping images severely.

Shane, when I get back to Tassie next week, I'll test the adapter and fr on the 5dII and let you know how it goes.
