Hello everyone.
Really enjoying this reprocessing campaign; it is quite gratifying when you take old data/average image and improve on it markedly.
That said, this is NGC 4945 - LRGB of 8.3.3.3 hours.

and attached is the original version from 2008.
thanks for looking as always.
cheers

Martin,
That is absolute GOLD CLASS, i love all the little galaxies you've managed to pull out with such detail too, they are just incredible, it truly is amazing what some people produce such as yourself these days.
What a wonderful shot, my hat is tipped sir
Kind Regards
Shane

Colors are better, nice detail with the Ha and the blue star action in the outer rim area.
I imagine you are missing being able to collect that kind of long focal length data over in USA. I have seen some shorter FL images such as the andromeda galaxy, but don't recall any long focal new images...still have a big scope ??

Thank you all for commenting.
Yes Clive, no hi-res stuff since I relocated. Still have my RC, but its in a box - hoping to go remote one day.
Enrique - essentially I improved on the clarity and contrast of the image, better noise control, but also big colour enhancements. The original version is almost totally lacking in those HII regions and blue star colour - and its definitely there, so I focussed on bringing that out also.
cheers
