Little better Jupiter.

More detail present in this shot, but cannot decide which I like better.

And the other, this is a little lighter in the processing.

Comments more than welcome

Paul, When you do your processing in the wavelets page how muc are you reducing the contrast and altering the histogram. And as in the other post, exp and gain. What are you doing with your white balance. Are you using the default ToUcam settings dialogue box or using WcCtrl

Contrast increase to 128- 140 and histogram only increase red by 10 and blue by same amount. The exposure for this was 1/25, and I think gain was set at 10%. White balance initially checked, then unchecked just before shooting.

Not sure what you mena by default settings in dialogue box or this WCCtrl. Could you explain this?

The default dialogue box is the one that pops up when you click on the ToUcam settings button. Have a look at your other post, I've posted some info about it there. A google search will find it easy enough.

Hi paul - I prefer the look of the second image, seems like more information has been preserved in that one. Did you consider using a histogram-stretch to bring up the brightness?

regards, Bird
