conjunction

Conjunction
Venus, Saturn, Mars and Mercury

Canon 20Da
17-40 lens at 17mm

20 sec shot for sky , 10 min shot for ground, ISO 800

Somewhere between Manar and Braidwood about 2 meters East of another mad astrophotographer on a dark highway with cars zooming by...
Good thing that bloke was there to tell me how to do things too !

Very nice, peaceful landscape that doesn't grab the eyes so I can focus in the sky. Excellent!

Nice work Frank. It looks very similar (location wise) to H's shot!

Yep about 2 meters away !

I only wish my images looked similar to H's otherwise.

Nice shot Frank! It looks like you've captured fewer stars than H did, which makes the planets dominate the image a bit more.

Cheers,

Well done, matey!

Was a frantic hour, but, I think that was part of the fun, and the untold backstories which go into every landscape photographers images.
