I just had to tell you all.

I have the scope sitting on the grass outside right now assembled ready for a look around if this high cloud stays a away (which it wont). My 4yo son was bouncing upand down on the trampoline, and I was aiming at Venus for a quick look. My 4yo asks me if he can look through the telescope, so I set up a little box for him and he had a look at venus, the first words he said was......

WOW Moon!!!

I explained to him what it was I think I completely confussed the poor kid now.

You Bully Andrew. Never confuse your kids! It IS the Moon, you go and ask him

I thought you were going to say something like 'he bounced off the trampoline straight on top of the scope and broke it!' Phewww!

The clever fellow was probably as excited as Galileo was when he discovered the answer to Q30 0f the IIS Christmas quiz

Sounds like you have got him hooked, now if he can only stay awake long enough to get a view of saturn. More so like any 4 year old they will be awake full of energy at this time of morning, when we will be in never never land.
