Charlotte Pass had a low of -19.6C on the morning of June 20 this year. Can't imagine that would occur too often in this country!

This last Wednesday, my son - who should be studying in Canberra, phoned me up. "Guess where we are, dad? We are on a chair lift going up mountain at Perisher." (Our other son called in sick as well)
Told us they couldnt resist reports of 600 mm fall. Snow was lovely and powdery. AAAAGGGGHHHH

Wish I were there.

Instead, I just have a glass on my desk with "Thredbo" logo on it. My desk being in an office with no windows, underground, in suburbia, on the other side of the country. Oh well.
