The Blue Mountains at Dusk

I took this on the way home from the David Malin awards in Parkes.

The shot is off the Bells Line of Road at Bilpin.

Canon 40D, 24-135mm lens:

Thanks Liz. Those sorts of colourful skies are fleeting and last 10 - 15 minutes max before they are gone.

I plan to do a Blue Mountains series of images as they are quite close to where I live now.

I also have an infrared/colour composite technique I want to use. Now my modified Canon 20D may need a bit of repair as the screen stopped working.

Greg.

A great image Greg

I'd love to see an image in the middle of Summer when the Eucalypt haze is rising.

I've seen it a few times and the sight and smell is amazing.

Cheers
