12 inch Bintel/GSO solid tube dob with Argo Navis plus accessories
I am selling my Bintel/GSO BT302 12 inch solid tube dob with Argo Navis plus accessories. I have enjoyed using this set up very much but selling to help fund a switch to astrophotography. You can read a review of this scope by Duncan on this website and another on Cloudy Nights. I think the Iceman uses it for planet imaging but on an EQ6 mount.
The all up price is $1350 for around just over $2000 worth of equipment. I will deliver as far as outskirts of Sydney or equivalent but don't want to think about shipping it nor about splitting up the package.
The scope is currently housed in my observing site just outside Braidwood NSW and I'm in Canberra. The scope is about 3 years old and in good condition. It has the right angle 8 x 50 viewfinder. It does not have the later clutch brake mechanism but I have fitted an Astronomie Shoppe Scope Grippe which can deal with most eyepieces but struggles with my binoviewers - I only have it fitted on one side because an encoder is on the other side. The attached picture shows scope with original springs attached and of course I will supply them too.

happy to add 10mm and 20mm Synta super plossls and as a sweetener a 5mm TMB planetary eyepiece all in original boxes - the plossls are very basic and I much prefer viewing with my Orion Stratus eyepieces (not included).
