I'm rationalising my gear and have decided to stick with an alt/azm mount that I'm rather pleased with!
Planning to travel, so scope and mount need to be small/quick/easy to setup.
So, for sale...
One Celestron CG-4 mount, including polar finder scope, 5kg of counter weights. $150.00
And a dual drive system for the CG-4 mount, all fittings, fresh set of batteries. $120.00
A total of $270 plus postage;
The mount weighs 5kg, counter weights are 5kg, and the drive system weighs 1.2kg.
So with a decent box, and lots of bubble wrap, postage will be for approx. 14~15kg, from PC 3444 to your location.
Or we can do local pick up, or arrange a meeting somewhere on the road from Melbourne to Kyneton Vic, whatever suits.
I would prefer not to split, but we'll see what responses I get.
