Replacement Pickups for Fender Guitars

DiMarzio Twang King Telecaster neck pickup
(Alnico 5 Magnet; Output 198mV; DC resistance 8.07K ohms)

Quote:
This is the Neck half of DiMarzio's first pair of matched Tele replacement pickups. Each Twang King is built by hand with exclusive winding techniques that give the guitar more attack while keeping that famous single-coil sound. It delivers the finest vintage sound combined with improved string balance and solid DiMarzio construction. The Neck pickup, DP172, comes with a base plate installed, and it's dipped in wax after assembly for quiet performance.

The Twang King Neck was not modeled after a specific original. Instead, it combines the best tonal qualities of several Broadcaster and Telecaster pickups from the '50s and early '60s. DiMarzio was aiming for a balance between big, clean lows and fatter-sounding highs and wanted the pickup to be able to handle a very wide dynamic range, so the sound would clean up with soft picking and really open up with a harder attack.
This DiMarzio Twang King Telecaster neck pickup is in good used condition for just $50, which includes careful packing and registered postage to anywhere in Australia. Inquiries by PM only please.

Kinman Zero-Hum Stratocaster pickups - AVn-63 Belltone (Hank Marvin)
(6.8K ohms; Resonance 3.5kHz; Inductance 2.96H; High output)

World-leading guitar pickup technology designed and built right here in Australia! Here’s what master tone craftsman Chris Kinman has to say about this model:

Quote:
These days Hank likes a fat and full tone at the neck position, so I designed this muscular vintage pickup to feature hammer-like attack and extra fullness in the trebles and upper midrange for a full bodied twang factor; much more so than genuine early 60's single coils. I took great care to ensure the trebles did not become harsh or nasty, even though they have a lot of presence and response, while capturing that elusive vintage, warm and round but woody bass tone. These are the attributes that also make it an ideal pickup to improve the bridge position tone in Hanks old '60s sound set of Kinmans. The wide dynamic range, fast transient attack and selective frequency response imparts a fluid feel (especially on the bass strings), so you can caress the strings softly for a sweet, sensitive passage or really attack them for an explosive response from the amp that does not compress or turn to mush. Hank likens these qualities to driving a car with a powerful engine and a responsive throttle. This is the American V8 Yank Tank of the pickup world. Get in the driver’s seat for an exciting journey to new musical horizons, but with technology that eliminates the irritating hum and string pull and makes guitar playing a total pleasure again.
RRP for single Kinman pickups is $142 each but this particular model is not normally sold separately, only as part of the Kinman Hank Marvin set.

I have two Kinman Zero-Hum AVn-63 Belltone Stratocaster pickups available (one with bonus mounting screws, the other without – as pictured), in good used condition for $75 each or $140 for the pair. Both prices include careful packing and registered postage to anywhere in Australia. Inquiries by PM only please.
