Deep sky stacker problem.

Hello everyone

Can someone tell me why am I all of a sudden finishing up with stacked images that have hardly any color?

I am using deep sky stacker 3.2.2 and I can't remember fiddling around with the options.

These two stacked photos are the examples to show the difference.

The first photo is the lastest result, whereas the one on the right is the orginal finished item.

Was the "per channel background calibration" ticked?

Ticked

Hi Bojan

I did try both options Bojan and still had the same result. The software I think is easy to configure but for some reason I could'nt reel this problem in. So the old saying "If in doubt re-install" actually worked. What bothers me is I don't know how this came about.

Regards Paul.

Strange.....
BTW, "per channel background calibration" should not be ticked.. otherwise if you have LP, there will be a shift in colour (the program tries to calibrate the stack in such a way that background is grey.. which is not the case in reality).
