Venus changing appearance

Venus is changing in appearance as it climbs higher up from the other side of the sun. It will change much more rapidly as it gets closer over the next few weeks and I hope to get some more images of the changing phase for the composite picture. It really is a strikingly beautiful object in the sky at dusk. Thanks for looking

Venus probably doesn't attract the coverage it deserves, sister planet and all.

Hi JJJnettie, Liz, Matt and Trevor. Thanks very much for your encouraging comments. With a relatively small scope, it's nice to have such a bright target, especially one that shows the effects of it's relative motion so clearly.
