10 July 2010 Venus and Regulus

managed a very quick snap of this tonight, it really was a sucker hole to get this 127Ed canon40D cooled

Wanted to get this one as it complements the shot i have of Mars a few weeks ago. the shots were affected by high cloud


They are hack shots so dont laugh too much

Whoops – who forgot to remove one’s Bahtinov Mask on image #1…or were you just showing off, at how good you are at focusing!

Nice series Dave, pity about the high cloud though.

good shot dave ,we know its in focus.it was only just a sucker hole.

Thanks Al - with picking the Wife and gibblets up at the airport and the "hole " that appeared just after sunset i thought i could just squeeze it in. only got a few shots off before it was completely covered. Note it was still twilight

LOL Dave, you should animate that first shot to the Star Wars theme and put it on YouTube.

Nice going mate, at least you got something last night.

LOL yeah its sort of like that. the last shot was quite literally watrching the cloud cover the lot, very expensive special effects
