Jupiter this morning
The first Jupiter of the new season... captured the data at 5:15am, well into morning twilight, with Jupiter just making it over my roofline in time.
woohoo!

Great start, Anthony! It's going to be time to crack out the old Jupiter programs again to plan for moon, moon shadow and GRS transits!
Amazing to think how big it's going to get in a few months time. You can see that it's not a fully illuminated phase, too.

Hi Bird, pretty amazing given those conditions and the fact we're a long way from maximum size. This is great!

The King is coming, nice prelude to a better season than last year. And; that was good. I have seen it there a couple of times in the dawn light in the last month and thought I should image it. Glad you did instead.
