Aluminum side bearings for 16" Dob

Does anyone know some place in Sydney that will make me a set of
Aluminum Bearnings for my 16" Dob project.

The size I need is 1.5" square bent into a 22" diameter arc.

Has anyone got any idea's?

Hi Paul,

I not sure that it's possible to bend square (or any other profile tube for that matter) into such a tight diameter without distorting it in such a way that it causes 'issues'.

You may wish to call Peter at SDM Telescopes (www.sdmtelescopes.co.au) and ask if you can buy a couple of his cast bearings off him and save your self a whole world of pain
