Meade illuminated reticle 12mm problem

Last few times Ive been out using my LX and using my 12mm meade wired illuminated reticule Ive been experiencing weird problems with the red light going dull and going out completely . Because i can control the intensity and pulse rate through the LXs handbox i thought i may have hit a wrong button etc. Last night it gave up completely and i ended up having to use the keypads red led to shine through the hole where the normal led goes to continue to use it .This morning doing some more investigating I opened up the Led housing to reveal that the soldering connection had half separated between the wire and led . Unless somewhere the cord as come under tension it looks like the soldering is a bit sloppy , looks like a easy fix though

I'm glad it's not going to be a costly fix for you Beren.
