iPhone/iTouch App (Satellite Flyby's)

I've just downloaded an app for my iTouch, that gives a great and basic enough display for Satellite flyovers.
It's from Spaceweather.com.
I find it pretty good

It gives the ISS, GOCE, X-37B, SEASAT at the moment. Unsure if they will get Iridiums on there yet (unless GOCE's are Iridiums??)

It costs $3.99. For the cost, I think it's just a little high for what Satellites it has, but I love the data output and it's in a very easily read display.

Shows the following : DATE (of flyby) - RISE TIME - DIRECTION TO LOOK - COUNTDOWN (from current time to flyby time) - TRANSIT TIME - MAX ELEVATION and MAG.

You can set your GPS co-ords manually, in to get your data output, or for the iPhone you can use something in the regards of using the inbuilt GPS.

Downloadable through the app store. Called "Satellite Flybys".

for just the iridium flares go "iridium flares" $1.19"
for ISS go "iss visibility" $2.49
or "satellite visibility" $3.99 which I havn't got but looks really good
plus a few others just do a search with "iss" in the apps search box

Cheers Brett - thanks for that.

Here's another useful app. Moon "Phases HD" for iPad. Goes for years too - good for planning long-range.

Should we have a iPhone/iPod/iPad app sticky? Mike?

I have Satellite tracker (free), has just about every satellite on (or is it around) the planet. The display is a bit cryptic but it works nicely and updates periodically as well. Another couple (free again) that may be of interest are SOHO and Exoplanet.
