Off to Adelaide.
We are leaving here (Albury) early Monday and heading off to Adelaide for xmas and new year staying at my wifes sisters place. It has been many many years since we have made this trip. Just wondering if any one knows of a good way to get there from Albury. I am sure we went from Albury to Swan Hill and then across last time, wondering if there is a better way to go or not as it has been some time. Pehaps Alb to Melb and along the coast are ther any new roads that i don`t know about Any ideas out there.

The freeway into adelaide has change quite a bit, so has the speed limits. The roads are still pretty average from Vic border right through to Tailam Bend, but they are better than alot of roads in NSW and Vic.
Keep an eye on your speed, speed cameras operate all over the freeway area. Also lots of cameras too.

Have a good trip, Roads are busy now. I think the direct route would be best.

Yes if you don't stop and smell the flowers and just drive on by you are liable to miss something really important - life

Peter, don't forget to mark the trees all the way there so you can find your way back!

Also make sure you have your SA visa for entry. Please stop at the operating table at the border to have half of your brain removed. You will get it back when you leave the state. We can't have Vics here smarter than us South Aussies.

But if he does that Paul he won't have the brain power to find his way back out of SA! (p.s. Peter is from NSW)
So, Peter, I hear your going to SA permanently mate!

Almost the same diff. Right on the border, its bound to have some infections present. Especially, if you have to pass through Victoria. Long way to hold your breath.
