- I couldn't see another thread about it but if there is fee free to combine this with it.
It refers to the Japanese mission launched in 2003 to obtain asteroid materail for analysis.

According to the Hayabusa page mentioned above, No, it will re-enter over what looks like Geraldton, WA. We may get to see it if the trajectory is REALLY wrong ...
