had a few nice clear nights, so i have been out in the back yard again!

Im looking for comments for colour reproduction

Im aware of the lovely coma thats around the boarders but i cant afford buying a dedicated flattener for the ED 80.

Nice images Brendan. As for the colour it looks OK to me but we all expect something different when it comes to colour. It is the one truely subjective item in astrophotography. It's a little hard to get close and take a real look to see what it is. All I can suggest is you process to what you yourself are happy with, get a neutral grey backgound, then ignore comments on colour.

Well done, glad you've been able to get out. the last few nights have been great but unfortunately for me I've caught a cold so I can only hope that clears up ASAP so I can enjoy another cold night under the stars.

Trev, those images are posted up to photo bucket at full res no cropping or anything hence the 1-3mb jpg file sizes but photo bucket resizes them for some silly reason. soon as i get my website up and running the way i want it, then ill have full sized images. Soon.

Terry, you need my imaging rig! I call it the wind monster, nothing bothers it at all! on the photo bucket site, look for the running chicken, that was taken in wind gusts up to 5okm/h with round stars

Doug, I'm with you on the process the way you like it, but sometimes that gets you nowhere. I like to hear peoples opinions on what the colours look like because sometime other people see things differently to me.

Marc, thanks for the kind comment there are many things that are technically not right with the image, i just cant wait to get some cash together and get the good stuff happening

Great images Brendan!! Prawn looks particularly good, and Omega is nice too - maybe a smidgen green to my eyes? Your link to M20+M8 is pointing to the Prawn as well though?

Looks good, but for some reason it is lower resolution than the others - and not showing the same album tools / menus
