I thought I'd seen that photo somewhere before.
The photo of the guy with the fish is apaulo's avatar!

Check out post number 549 in "Post a pic of yourself"

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ght=post+photo

Wonder how it got there?!

Thats Me

Well Guys
That was my five minutes of fame. I knew I had put on weight but to be linked with an object concerning the sun. let alone Brendan calling me a sunspot, tells me I have to go back on a diet.
Anyway what is wrong with the fish? It was a nice fight as I remembered it, only using light tackle.
Hehe hope you enjoyed the photo.
Best regards Paul.

Apaulo = Apollo

Hi Brendan & All,

Well the real connection here is pretty obvious (to me anyway). To the Greeks (within the Olympian deities at least) and Romans, Apollo was the god of light and of the Sun (among other roles).

Apaulo (a corruption of Apollo) is obviously the actual Greek god Apollo incognito and among us and has been recognised as such by the server somehow using his photograph as a substitute for the Sun.

Makes sense to me ...

Best,

Les D

Eros? maybe

Well I don't know about being a greek god but I try and tell my wife I am a sort of an adonis who took lessions from EROS. She just laughed and told me to take the tickets off myself, look into the telescope and get a grip. It was worth a try!.
Regards deflated apaulo not apollo (sorry)..
