Thanks for you're input Trev,
I'm thinking along the lines of my secondary offset which is set @ 4mm away from tubes centre.. this was what was need to square the incoming light on the F4, 10" configuration.
No focuser sag as this setup is the same weight as my old.
But then bigger chips will show up any little discrepancy.
In my image, to the bottom L/H corner, the stars are slightly out of focus compared to the top L/H corner. Then to the whole R/H side, stars are elongate. To get this right, I might take my camera around to my friends and attach it to his FSQ and square it to his setup then see how things look back on my rig. Won't be happy till this is out of the equation!

Hope you iron out the issue with the star elongation soon.
Looking forward to more from your setup mate.

Thanks you Andrew

,
was pleasantly impressed with the sensitivity in Ha! The moon was just over head and blaring in.
Very clean chip and I won't be bothering with darks, just flats and possibly
bias.. at this stage untill I get sorted with 50mm filters.
I'm a dog with a bone with finding out things so hopefully the next image will have these things sorted

Thanks very much Jase!
It's never a dull moment in this game is it! Keeps us on our toes.
One new upgrade turns into something else issues and gear wise..
But we love it...

Have found an effective way to remove almost all the vignetting in PS.. even have made an action for it... but still nothing beats real flats, so am in the process of building a light box.
Hopefully have these minor probs sussed when all our favourite and well known objects come into the perfect viewing/ time wise slot.
Stay tuned and thanks again guys.
All the best
Rich
