Thank you Trevor
Wanted to do some more RGB tonight but it will be cloudy and raining for the rest of the week (maybe Sunday night).
PS when merging with HA the star colors are getting a bit washed out

Heaps of data there Martin. 25 subs at 20 minutes. Wow. Colours need some tweeking and your polar alignment is still resulting in field rotation. Image is very smooth and has awesome potential.

I like how the image just draws you into the centre and then you start to notice all the detail.

Lovely shot Martin.

Very deep image. Lots of Ha detail there. The red is too dominant though and that is coming from your Ha blend. The Ha is dominating the colour.
There should be some light blues in the centre and the stars should have more colour.

Have a look at Rob Gendlers website as he has some Ha blending methods that can help there. Ha blending is an art as Ha can easily take over the image. Probably a Ha and Luminance combine first. You can also add a bit of Ha as a luminosity layer with the opacity slider down a bit (maybe only 15%) to get detail as well but it will weaken colours and shift colours a lot so in moderation only.

Greg.

Big Big nebula Martin.. Lots of exposure to work with makes for a nice image. It almost looks like the pillars have been placed into the image though. You might want to try lifting the contrast of the pillars without brightening the core quite so much..

NHice work with a big effort. Well done.

I have to agree with Ian, Lovely image Martin.

Seems to me the more data you have, the more we push the boundaries with our processing skills!; the learning curve continues.

Keep it up!

The problem is that once you start to make your pictures better, you will see more and more flaws in your own pictures
