I have been doing a lot more wildlife photography in recent months, and little astronomy due to the weather.
Last weekend,I went for a walk to some dry rainforest/scrub tree bushland near our property to make a bird list for some bird watchers.
Its very difficult to catch a bird just in the right spot to take a good photo.I played around for two hours, with not much result.late in the afternoon,I took these photos of a Weebill-Australia's smallest bird at 9 cm long
A difficult target, with little light, low speed around 400,free hand. Its a very tiny bird, they come in a 'brown' form as this one is and a 'yellow' form,I have seen both here,I will try and post the yellow form if anyone is interested.
