Toby Jug Neb

The weather in Brissie has been very nice over the past few nights and after a frustrating start I managed to snap 20x5 mins of the Toby Jug Neb using the DSI II and Newt. Not my best image but quite an interesting target.

Top shot Peter! I really like this object. Beautiful details in your pic. It's very very yellow in RGB.

Very nice shot of what i imagine would be a difficult target. Lovely thin whisps of neb in there.
Cheers,
Duncan

Nice work on this tough target Peter. I found it difficult to extract details. You've done well.

Thanks for the kind comments Marc, Duncan and Jase. This was my first attempt at using dither with PHD and Nebulosity. It seemed to work quite well.

Came out nice and smooth, can see the "handle" on the jug.

Love looking at DSI II/ Newt stuff from you Peter
The mono smoothness is so familiar to view
This image scale would possibly do very well with a data
resample and stack, maybe.
Definitely on my list, this one

Hey Scott and Steve,

Just catching up on some older threads. I must admit my attention has been on getting the QHY8 up and running so the DSI II pro is working in guider duty at the moment. Thanks for the feedback. I plan to give the jug a try in colour with the QHY when the weather improves.

Peter
