Swampy M8 from the doghouse

well this was my first M8 ever from the doghouse, conditons were cool but we had cloud and bushfire smoke about. i lost quite a few frames to cloud, but anyway here is a ISO800 1h52 minute worth of the swamp with a cooled and modded Canon40D. stacked in DSS and processed in Pixinsight1.6

Bit on the blue side but very nice details. I personally think there aren't enough images of M8 on these forums. ... but hey, that's me.

Very nice star field. The colour of the stars seem independant of the nebula which means good colour separation across the image. Its got a good balanced look with good detail. Nice

blue! well you may be right. Swamps are an important part of the eco system arent they?

Blue? Nah... it should be green. That's what I meant. Anything in a swamp has to be green .... croaking is a plus.

David,

That's gorgeous. Tight guiding, focus and detail.

Is that taken with the ED127?
