Jupiter, 8th May
Some very good seeing this morning, and also a thick fog which made it more of a challenge... This image is from 6.26am, just before sunrise.
cheers, Bird

Thanks all, here's an IR image from the same session - using an IR742 Astronomik filter, 1 minute at 30fps.

Thanks Mike, and there seems to be a thin green belt as well - this is always a point of discussion for the people going synthetic greens...

That's a quality image Anthony. I've just been viewing the Cassini images of Jupiter (taken on it's flyby) which are some of the best. The detail you've obtained from here is remarkable.
Cheers, John

Simply stunning images Anthony. Just think monly a few years ago an image like that would have come from Mt Polamar.
Great work!!!!!!!!

Amazing shots!
And at that time of the morning means you probably have time to have a good solid night's sleep, a nice long breakfast, then get some imaging done!
I'm envious!

Thanks Frank, it still makes for some long days, especially if I do this a few nights in a row...
