7:30 Report Versus Kevin Rudd

If you missed the 7:30 report tonight, then you've missed a cracker show!

I haven't seen Rudd flash his fangs, but he did on tonight's show and it was great.

Not the jovial Ruddy we're use to seeing on TV and boy can he focus when he needs to.

The 7:30 report seemed very bias actually, very sympathetic toward the primary industries...not sure what's going on there...fall-out from the Super Profit Tax perhaps, which would indicate that unhappy corporates in the mining industry can influence the ABC.

I haven't seen Rudd flash his fangs either. I have however seen him flash his communist passion by increasing taxes on life's simple pleasures like alchopops and smokes, and micromananging our lives in every possible way, in an effort to repay his $40 billion debt which he put this country in singlehandedly in 2 years, and to make himself a showpony for the media, by trying to control what we eat, drink, do etc, making him look like he's "doing something for our own good". Cough*protectingworkingfamiliesfrom smokesboozefastfood*cough

I'll eat, drink, smoke whatever I want thanks Kevin, it's my choice as a citizen of a free western democracy and you have no right in deciding what I can and can't do with my life.

Well done Kevin 747. Bravo. Way to ruin the country Mr Sheen.

Yeah, the Milky Bar Kid just turned into a Great White. He did a shake-up initially, but boy did he give him a good slap back. I was laughing so much; it was a great show.

I wasn't comfortable with how the show progressed; something seemed amiss and wasn't right.

True, but remember your words when the global economic house-of-cards comes tumbling down and we're (in OZ) are able to dust ourselves off.

I realised only yesterday that all the stimulus money dished-out effectively creates yet another bubble, but a bit of stimulus was what was needed for the economy (even though my partner and I didn't put our hand out for Ruddy-Money as it didn't feel right for us).

Rudd's budget is actually very sensible and I congratulate him for having the nerve to call primary industry profits back into the economy pool; it's kind of a future moral hazard bypass. He must prevent a dual economy from forming, otherwise kids from low income demographics won't stand a chance in 10-20 years time.

Krudds budget isn't sensible. It simply is a response to his own unabated overspending, sending this country into massive debt. Wayne Swan, that prat with the wig combover actually accused the Howard Government of going on "spendathons"..... gee Wayne Swan, Howard didn't blow our nation's cash like you did on crap like unwanted school sports halls and 10 water tanks for a single footy club, insulation which killed people, etc etc, he actually managed our country's finances and delivered a surplus with each budget, hence why he was able to go on "spendathons", which were in the interest of our nation, involving projects such as highways, railways, mines, etc.
