Custom Tube Rings for Tak FS60Q

Since downsizing to Canberra, I have had to also downsize my projects, here is the latest one:

Custom Tube Rings for the soon to arrive FC76 Objective that will be attached to my spare Tak focuser (thanks to Col "Flash") and CSV tube (thanks to Art at Tak America)

Here displayed on my FS60CSVQ

The tube rings are designed for the AF-S Nikkor 80-200 F2.8 and are a perfect fit for the Tak

Pic4: Felt installed
Pic5: Test fit on FS60CSV-Q

As pictured : FS60 + CSV tube + CQ 1.7x Module with Takahashi-Kunama adapter and Baader 2" ClickLock Visual Back with Baader 2" ClickLock dielectric diagonal.

What I really like about them is the total cost came to $70 for the pair

Just waiting for the objective now, which is being supplied by Claude at A.E.C. In fact the price of the new lens through Claude is less than it would have cost me to get a second hand one from Astromart.

it looks like this:

Hey, give me my focuser assembly back!

Nah, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Feathertouch on it now, and more in and back focus, which has always been an issue with the FS60

GREAT work Matt - yep, I think I will ask kindly for a set made up please.
