The moon is starting to look like the moon.

I had a nice still evening and seem to spending less time playing with random settings. I have a couple of other files to process on a rainy day.

Centered around ALBATEGNIUS and HIPPARCHUS

Nexstar80GTL, Lifecam HD, processed with Avistack and PSE.

and a regconisable Saturn

Been playing around some more with AVIstack and processed some more Moon movies from 21st April.

The first image managed to capture the X.

Second is a reprocess of the previous post, I was was more carefull with the settings and it seems to come out a bit better.

Third and fourth are the same image. The third uses wavelets in AVIstack while the fourth is just finished with an unsharp mask in PSE. The wavelets seem to bring out more detail but then it looks over processed and unnatural.

Read the thread on how to create a mosaic, so here it is. Couldn't quite get the colours to all match up.
