Mintron video camera fan mod

Summer has brought hot pixels by the constellations so thought it was time for a mod to the mintron video camera.

Installed a small computer fan and it helps a little. A faster fan might help but I've heard vibrations can cause problems.

Anyway here's the pics. I got the idea from the net so no original thinking from me.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry but I can't see any difference! What should I be looking for?

I see it now.

It does make a difference!
I like the 2nd shot.
More interesting to look at than a field of equal mag stars.

Well done Kevin.

Thanks Andrew.

I'm glad you posted that image of your cameral Kevin. Now I know what camera they have at the observatory. Now all I've got to do is talk them into getting some filters.

Cheers

Not that I'll get to try it for the next 6 months. Looks like the monsoons have set it.
