Hi folks,

I aw a picture in a book recently of a wall poster showing all the Messier objects. Has anyone seen one of these and/or know where to get one?

Thanks,

Hi Neil,

I have had a Messier object poster for some years and it was published by
Sky Publishing who provide Sky & Telescope in the United States.
An image of the poster is here -
http://seds.org/messier/xtra/messpos.html
A quick search these days of the Sky Publishing store does not show it
so it is probably out of print -

Hi Neil, This isn't the poster, but maybe it might be of help. It's all the Messier objects listed with pics and astrophysics. I put mine in plastic sleeves in my observing folder. Small enough that it only takes 8 pages of printing. It's a goody!

There were two posters available from Sky Publishing I believe but they no longer appear to be listed so perhaps they are out of print. One poster was in colour and one was in B&W and each listed the entire Messier calatogue. The B&W poster has images more resembling what you would see in a telescope.

You could try local astronomy dealers in case they have any in stock.
