Anyone in the SAS?? Thinking of joining (well, I sure im going to join). I just wanted to get to know members of SAS before joining so I don't feel like a complete stranger when joining...

Cheers,
Tony

Hi Tony.

I've been a member since about September. It seems like a good group, with a wide variety of interests.

Regards,
Eric

I paid cash at a meeting

I could point out several other SAS members, but I'm letting them 'fess up on their own. That, and I don't know all of their forum names.

Regards,
Eric

Hi Tony.

You would be indeed most welcome at the meeting. Great bunch of people, very easy going. I will be there on the 27th, so come along will introduce you. Have you looked at the SAS website and specifically Event Horizon (the societies newsletter) it gives lots of good information as well as the new meeting place.

All the best.

PeterM.

The next SAS meeting is on the 23rd of January at Livingstone Christian College Ormeau, commencing at 7.30pm.

No appointment necessary, just turn up, you will be fine.

If the weather is clear there will most likely be some 'scopes on hand, but going on recent form...

Hi Bryan, the SAS website at www.sas.org.au has a section with the societies newletter called Event Horizon. This is usually has the dates for the next 3 months, so in February the meeting will be on the 27th and you would be most welcome.

Received 2 Emails from both Kevin Dixon and Julian West. Apparently the website has some out of date info... All cleared and hope to be there on the 23rd at the Livingston College!!

Thanks Peter,
I was actually on your Emailing list for the Event Horizon for quite a while, but haven't received one for some time now.
I suppose it would help if I joined the SAS.
