Jupiter, April 12

Hi everyone, here's an image of Jupiter from this morning in good seeing. Jupiter is still very low, but a good image was possible just before sunrise.

cheers, Bird

Excellent! Love the colours. The GRS is definitely very prominent.

Interesting white spot in the NEB and the SEB looks like it is all but non existent. I wonder if the SEB is undergoing yet another upheaval?

Might be worth keeping an eye out for a SEB revival sometime soon...

But... but what happened to Mars and Saturn Bird? Please don't tell me it's Jupiter time again!?? Nooooo....

Er, nice capture for first of the season! Jupiter looked great this morning in dark sky above the rising thin crescent Moon. Twinkly stars, but that's par for here.

Cheers -

Wow, how different is that... Looks like a good reason to miss out on more sleep - if only the clouds would clear.

Thanks for the image
