Sunday arvo macros

Took these using a Canon 85mm f1.8 and some extension tubes. The Sigma 105 as of today no longer manual focuses which is weird so will take it back to where I bought it. Only a month old as well...
Not sure what these little skinks are called, have heard them called "penny lizards". Appreciate identification of the spider as well.

Nice work/improvisation. I haven't tried that lens/tube combo.

Re your Sigma 105 - keep in mind they have 2 focus controls. There's the MF/AF switch, but also the focus rings clicks in and out as sort of a focus lock I think. My guess would be you've clicked it without realising it. Try that before taking it back to shop.

Troy, you're a legend that's exactly what it was thanks mate had no idea the focus ring has a push/pull lock mech. I should have RTFM

No worries. Glad to help - I'd hate you to make a trip to the store thinking something was wrong and it being something like that. I've made exactly the same mistake, that's how I knew
