First Saturn of my season

Hello,

Because late is better than never mind, I could finally take my very first Saturn image of the season a few nights ago.

This was also my first attempt with my new Gladius 400, but the focal lenght (roughly 14 meters!) was too far excessive for that night with low transparency and clouds everywhere. I couldn't get it shorter before of the clouds rolling in...
As a consequence, the exposure was extremely slow (1/8th a sec!) and washed out some decent stability occurred on that night.
Manual hand picking of the frames.

Nothing to report on Saturn disc at these longitudes.

More to follow (not sure...).

Very nice Paolo, considering the slow exposure. Still a lovely image.

Regards

Thank you again!
Yeah, that slow exposure was a mess and it's too bad I had no more time to change my setup on the fly!

Great result. Do you always hand pick your frames?
