Eta and NGC 4945 Ha

Eta Carinae and NGC 4945 in Ha from last night

First light for the QHY8

SWED80 Pro f/7.5
QHY8 w/Lumicon Ha Filter
Processed in IP
1x15min,1x10min subs with flats

Shot in a full moon. Gradients are evident from the moon, especially in 4945. The clouds rolled in so the session was terminated early!

I was a little impatient to get the QHY8 up and running...

Nice one Rob!
Ha looks great on Eta - would be so nice to be able to zoom out to your ED80 field of view sometimes!

Ah yes..first light...can't wait myself

I feel your impatience and satisfaction just to get an image down with a new camera

Eta looks pretty good and the FOV for the 4945 shot is excellent, a nice full colour shot of this when the moon goes will look great Rob
