Mosaic Interruptus

Melbourne's weather has again let me down from getting any more than two panels of a mosaic I hoped to do. It was to be from Carina to Crux.

Here are the first two panels anyway 4MB

Maybe next new Moon.

Fantaastic Bert. Is that the southern pleaides on the right?

You've really got these mosaics down, it appears very seamless.

Greg.

Very impressive. An article with tips from the Supercoach would be great for us novices...

keep on keeping on Bert...

The big question is this... Once you've done from Carina to Crux, are you going to add pannels to join this image with your image of the Vela SNR? That would be awesome...

Thanks all. After two nights of battling intermittent cloud collected another frame. I do not think that the weather will let me get more until maybe next new Moon.

Here are the three frames 9MB FOV 11.6 x 7.1 degrees.

Anything smaller and it turns into jpg crud.

Hint. If you left click anywhere on the image in your browser it will zoom to 100% pixel view to where you clicked.

I have uploaded a larger version.

Large Image 11,116 X 7,174 pixels 14MB

http://d1355990.i49.quadrahosting.co...3/carmos4M.jpg

At this size 1000 pixels is one degree FoV.

There is a 24MB version if you want to see it.
