That looks marvelous, and i don't mind the pink halo's.
What you also could do is get rid of the stars altogether

That is very nice indeed. The nebulosity details in the shock fronts are real nice and so are the dark bok globules. Great processing too. Top work.

Another absolutely amazing image.. The RC/QHY9 combo is really doing you very very well.. combined with careful processing and loads of data you're producing some of the best narrowband images I've seen recently

Dave,

I visited your site the other day and saw this in progress. I spent a good few minutes pouring through the detail.

This is one of those regions which is just absolutely perfect for narrowband.

I can't wait to try my own hand at these sorts of images. Just need a telescope which will give me those darn beautiful spikes.

So, what's next?

Well done.

H

Just perfect Dave!
Those Bok globules stand out beautifully and you've some nice detail to specific nebulous areas.
I like this pallet also.
Imo I think the slight pinkish star halos add to the image not detract.

Top work.

Rich

Thank you all

I'll keep'on pushing and see what can come out of RC8/QHY9 combo.
I'm sure there's a lot more in it, my processing is the limit at the moment..so much to learn....

... I liken it to a lemon getting squeezed...

-Sometimes you get a lemon and it isn't juicy. no matter how hard you squeeze it you only get chunky bits.!

-Other times you get a lemon and its so full of juice that a little squeeze and you have a cupfull! but a harder squeeze and you have a jug.!

I belive that your at step 1 of the second comment.! keep squeezin that lemon!

theres a big wow factor and i love it good work!
