Hawk Moth eye/antenna detail

Hi all,

We had a hawk moth resting on our flyscreen last weekend, and I was able to get nice and close for some macro shots. Here's one showing the eye and the feathery antenna. It's a bit grainy because it was shot at 800 iso (it was shady and I was relying on natural lighting), but still shows some nice detail

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Some beautiful textures and details in moth and butterfly closeups. Opportunity seized and capitalised on.
