Saturn 5th March

Just a quick Saturn from early on 5th March.
It's a bit rough, but I'm tired and I want to go to bed.
8" Newtonian, 2.7x Barlow (plus extension), Toucam 840, and Registax.

Pretty good for a quick one Clayton. Your focus looks spot on!

Nice result Clayton,

Originally I also started planetary imaging with a ToUcam 840 Pro.
This Saturn is certainly quite sharp and well resolved. With the rings so far closed and an 8" scope, the fps does become an issue but you still have the the Cassini division well defined, overall a good effort.

Regards
Trevor

I was happy with the result Trevor apart from the noise and the colour. In hindsight I should have captured for a bit longer as I had to have the gain up more than I prefer and some more frames would have helped reduce the noise. I was too tired to do anymore with colour other than some levels in GIMP

Nice and sharp, looks great. It's lacking a bit of colour but everything else looks spot on.
