New Hand Grenade

My 17mm Ethos turned up today!

It is a big unit, looks really nice, not sure how it is going to fit in my eyepiece case though!

Really looking forward to giving it a thrashing at SV in March.

Hmm. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in Paddys scope!
Other problem is now the eyepiece collection is at a standard that I need a bigger and better scope. May have to have another chat to Peter Read.

Well Malcolm, the standard formula for the optimal number of toys is
n+1, where n= the current number of toys in your possession...

Actually, recent experience has suggested that the correct formula is
n+(s-1) where s the number at which the other half notices you have been buying a lot of stuff lately!

Very nice Malcolm. So, looks like we found the culprit responsible for this latest round of cloudy muck...

I'd be keen on test driving it in a Skywatcher Heritage 76,

I have put lots of nights into this formulae myself , close , but have you considered , n+IIS =a bargain ( = n+2) .
Woaw , nice eyepiece and I hope you get lots of clear nights with it .

Thanks Bo, Sab and Brian.
Socked in solid here with clouds and looks like it is set for a few more days.
Hopefully will get to use sometime in 2012!
