A dead tree

Hi All... I've been playing around a bit with HDR on my 500D
Thought I'd share one of my favorites thus far.

Instead of taking 3 separate shots, I used Photoshop to create low and high exposure versions of the one image.

Stacking and tone mapping were done in Photomatix, then back to Photoshop for noise reduction.

Also here is the original unprocessed image. As you can see the clouds were naturally a very nice colour.

Still a bit of noise reduction to be done in certain areas, but at this res I'm hoping nobody will notice

Very nice Sebastian, I like the contrast against the background.

Very stark and foreboding.
